Entertainment industry veteran David M. Hirsch and Giovanni J. Guidotti, CEO of Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty, joined forces in 2019 to launch Hirsch Giovanni Entertainment (HGE), an LA-based independent production company. At HGE, we believe good filmmaking begins with a great script. Championing talented writers to craft exceptional screenplays and deliver compelling stories is at the heart of our process. We invite collaboration from emerging and established voices, matching distinctive directors to each project, and always strive to maintain artistic integrity while pursuing commercial success.

Valuing the power books have to enrich the mind, society, and culture, Hirsch Giovanni Publishing (HGP) was established two years after its entertainment counterpart. The Fritz Peters Collection, HGP’s initial release in 2024, consists of three novels and two memoirs. This endeavor naturally evolved from our efforts to adapt his second and most popular novel, Finistère into a feature film. It was an opportunity to expand the world of Fritz Peters and celebrate the author’s original works. We aim to continue exploring our passion for story in this medium, and the synergistic relationship between cinema and literature.

David has an extensive background in film as an executive, manager, and producer. He grew up in San Diego and received his BA from Yale.
